Alison Khan is the Business Manager at AMK coaching and is responsible for ensuring that everything is organised, planned and running like clockwork. Before joining the company, Alison had a successful 20 year career in the Civil Service working for the Crown Prosecution Service, the Cabinet Office and the National School for Government. She specialised in helping departments and agencies to improve their business performance as well as their people. Amongst her proudest achievements was developing Civil Service policies on responding to domestic violence and seeing a reduction in sickness absence as a result of cross departmental policies that she developed. She was also a member of the Capability Building Programme and worked on projects as varied as improving employee engagement; GP commissioning and the pathway to introducing Universal Credit. She was a line manager throughout her career, managing teams varying in size from four to forty people. She has acted as a mentor to those looking for promotion as well as helping those whose performance required improvement.
When she is not keeping everything at AMK coaching on track, Alison spends her time walking Jess the dog, supporting the London Broncos and Chelsea FC, and planning her next cruise!
